- I am a 33 year old rocker! I have a beautiful wife and three of the most awesome kids in the world. I am the youth and children's director at St. Philip's United Methodist Church. I have been in youth ministry off and on for 15+ years. I have attended both International Bible College in San Antonio, and Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie. I am a kid at heart who loves Jesus and loves to teach others about Christianity and how to live out your faith. I hope this blog is both informational and fun.

Just a suggestion, but I think it would be nice to have a section telling more about our youth group. Since our church site fails at just about anything I would think it would be good to add a section that tells about what our activities are and when they are. Another suggestion is something about the youth's mission. Even a section that tells a little about you. So many young people today rely on the internet to get information and all the information on the church site (spumc.org) is nonexistent. Sure many people aren't going to just randomly stumble upon our site but it would be nice to give out the blog/site to people that don't know much about our youth. I'm unfamiliar with how the layout works on the blog/site but there should be a way to have links that are always on the side for people to click. Anyways thats my 2 cents about what to do on the blog.
